Great rainy day read

I did not think I would like the book the first chapter in, but by the second chapter I was hooked.

It is interesting and thought provoking, moves at a good speed and the ending was a surprise.

So good. I love thrillers and this one is in another level! A must listen!

You have to stick with it.

I have read all of Berenson's fiction books and in particular liked the John Well's stories. This one is different and the only reason that I stuck with it beyond the halfway point was because Berenson wrote it. However the first half was so slow moving I almost gave up on it. Once I got into the second half it moved quickly and turned out to be a really good book. I gave it four stars because of all the time spent telling stories about the characters which did not fit so well into the final half of the book.

Shocked

A great thriller and truly unexpected, usually mid way through the book I can guess the ending but this was full of roller coasters.

I understand how they were setting up the husband throughout the book to be a person who at times didn’t have the appropriate human reactions that he should have. I agree. that he might be a person who could betray his spouse and country… but all charachters agree that he was an amazing dad, he raised the kids! No way he would let his baby girl just suffer out there!
Other than that huge problem for me… I really enjoyed it!
