Still an enjoyable read

Linda Howard never disappoints. I’ve read many of her books and always enjoy them. This one keeps you guessing who the committed the crime till the very end.

The story was good. The twist at the end took me by surprise. I couldn't really get over the fact that Webb & Jessie were cousins, and Webb & Roanna too, that was a little strange but overall a good read/listen. Natalie Ross always delivers!

Thought it was a mystery, but got a spicy novel

I think this was a free audible book recommendation and I admit I'm pretty happy I didn't waste any of my money on it. The writing is good, even the story is okay, but I wasn't expecting a soft porn book. Nothing wrong with this genre of books just not what I'm into. If I was interested in this genre, I'm sure I'd be saying what a great book it is, due to the writing and story line. The story and characters had me listening to the end, but I can't say I'd be purchasing any of Ms. Howard's book.

Never saw it coming

Amazing story. I love when you dont see the end coming. Will listen to again and again.

Sex scene and repeated iterations

The story was good. Unfortunately I almost couldn't get through it due to sooooo much rehashing of sex scene. Just not for me so tried to skip over them. A lot!
