Great start to a great series

I really enjoyed how this series started out with getting to know the characters and explaining how the zombie virus came to be. It doesn’t start out like your typical zombie thrillers. The author does a really good job of introducing the characters and building the storyline. This is a awesome listen at a great price and I can’t wait to finish the series!

okay story, terrible characters

only half way through but struggling to finish.

the characters are so bad I root for them to die. I hate every one of them. I spend a lot of time skipping dialogue and monologues due to how unlikeable everyone is. it's like everyone is brain dead and sociopaths with the worst personality traits imaginable.

the author is either a master of creating the most unlikeable characters or projecting their own life experience.

overall good, but....

I have to agree with most of these reviews that Gwen is the most annoying character ever with several other whiny babies being right up there. I am struggling to get through this series because of her. Seriously wished Mark would drop her ass. Actually, all the female characters were written from a stereotypical mindset.

My other criticism is the voice actor. While he can't help his voice I was distracted at how often he sounded like a movie preview narrator.

I want to like this story but dang it, I just want to slap these characters... and I am not a violent person.

Fast moving...

This stored was action packed and I liked the format, but I didn’t really connect with any of the characters.
