Hints at a Wider Universe

The main story is good, and hooks the listen into wanting more. The short stories are often excerpts from other books. They open the door to almost every race and faction in the Warhammer 40K universe. Really loved this book, and looking forward to my next listen.

The Good the bad and the long winded narrator

they're all good books with some up and down but the narrator just took too long to say words in some of the books

Good stories for starting your lore knowledge of warhammer 40k. Will definitely be listening to this again.

A good survey of the galaxy

Stories involve a pretty wide swathe of factions: the Imperial guard/Astra Militarum, Necrons, Space Wolves, Tyranids, Custodes, and more.

The Darkling Hours and Kraken are highlights for me. Kraken is among the best characterizations of Space Wolves I've heard yet, though that's not saying much.

action pack stories that had me on the edge of my seat!
this is my first introduction into the Warhammer 4K universe, and I am now a forever fan!
