beautifully read and read at just the right pace

I liked the classic King James translation which included the Apocrypha. It makes it easy to move from the audible book into prayer.

God is Phenomenal

The Greatest story ever written, told and shared. Timeless is the Word and Truth of God. Praise be to Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The only audiobook featuring Catholic books

You might know that the Protestant Bible has 66 books, but the Catholic Bible has 73. Even though the KJV title is misleading, this audiobook does include the Catholic Books! The Catholic books include Tobit, Judith, Wisdom of Solomon, Sirach (Ecclesiasticus), Baruch, Maccabees 1 & 2, Esther Additions, and Daniel Additions. Although it is not read in the NRV, it is still beautiful to hear.

Nice Narration

I didn't care for the Early Modern English style that the King James Version was written in. That was the only thing that threw me off, the language style. No one speaks like this, especially now. The narrator on the other hand was excellent! Loved hearing his voice and was a delight to listen to the inflections in his voice! I would recommend only if your ok with the Early Modern English language style.

Christopher Glyn is a very good reader

The only fault I've found so far is his machine-gun delivery of the genealogy lists. David Suchet is a better narrator, but only reads the NIV, which I don't like.

I mistakenly purchased quite a few Audible books just for the story, but cannot listen to because the reader is so bad. Rookie mistakes. I'm more careful now.
