It’s too repetitive

Great story line got lost in the repetition of hatred misunderstandings of both the main characters. Could have been half as long. Can’t decide if I’ll get any of the rest of the series even though I think the author has potential for good storytelling.

Well what can I say

the plot is interesting but the story is nothing new. There’s at lease 2 books I’ve read with this kind of misunderstanding which is not surprise with the amount of books this author release in years I shouldn’t have expect anything special. I get its romance book but with the long numerous s*x scene at some point I feel like listening p*rn instead of the romance novel.

Wonderful narration by Rosalyn Landor!

The narrator greatly, positively, impacts this listening experience. It makes this so-so storyline palpable….an additional star just for the narration!

Great Book

I have truly enjoyed books by Scarlett Scott. Once I find a great historical/regency romance author, I try to read as many of their books as I can.

Pretty Good!

I read the reviews about the redundancy and while there was some, I believe the preformance of the narrator outweighed it for me. Great storyline, would have been nice if it reached the punchline a bit sooner. Still recommending as a listen.
