If an audiobook was a cursed email chain

This is a dumpster fire in terms of production quality but the story is interesting.

The female voice actor needs to be played at .9 speed other wise it sounds like google translate reading and even then the beginning Im not 100% sure if it was human read. Once you get a couple chapters in she sounds better or you just get used to the cursed half human half Alexa sound.

The male voice actor doesn't read the male voices unless the chapter is from a male perspective so good luck trying to reconsile that. Plus he over emphasizes everything which is a delight to listen to.

I genuinely love this audiobook but I promise you there is nothing quality about it but the actual story. It was well written and interesting but the true blessing is how bad everything else is.

Good but lacking

Supposedly the main character has a lot of power but she keeps getting into trouble only her males can save her from. The action in the storyline is lacking and the sex scenes are precise. It’s an interesting original story line but just not keeping my interest. I feel like I don’t really know the characters or even why the main character is still interested in them after all their lies and secrecy. It’s really promising until about half way through.

Robotic Voice

I would love a different VA, the female voice sounds so robotic it's hard to get into the story. She sounds old for the character she's supposed to be playing, there's a lack of varied intonation. The story is absolutely great but the actor just ruins it. Definitely worth a re-record with a more suited actor.

surprisingly great

I absolutely love the narrators performances. I enjoy the fact that the main female character speaks her mind and doesn't act like the stereotypical timid, constantly confused, insecure, and damsel in distress main female lead that we see most of the time. well written, excited to see how Stevie's adventure continues in the next books. I laughed, I cried. just the kind of entertainment I enjoy!

Interesting concept and great characters!

I enjoyed this story. The world building was wonderful and I enjoyed seeing how the characters interacted. I'm curious to see what new challenges they will face in the next book.
