I really enjoyed this book and Lori Prince is an excellent narrator. I would have given it 5 stars instead of 4 if the author hadn't gone totally predictable romcom cliche at two important points in the narrative; still a great listen.

Will these lovers out maneuver those trying to keep apart?

Who am I kidding?! It’s a romance novel and if these delightful sexy ladies don’t get their HEA, heads will roll, hot tubs will go cold and there will a riot in sapphic novel land! It’s a place! Look it up! What is truly delightful is the bumpy, manipulative and sometimes villainous road these characters travel to get to that lovey-dovey place! I also enjoyed the snippets of beautiful lyrics and the melting of a younger tainted ice queen, to flip the script a bit! The “world of music and celebrity” created by the author felt authentic and contributed much to the story line. I am going to look for more books by Ms. Oakley! As always, Lori’s narration is fun to listen to and she contributes a great deal to this experience. Overall, this book is a gorgeous love song for your heart and ears!

Loved the plot!

Sweet sapphic songwriting story

This was such a short and sweet story, which is often hard to pull off! Loved the style of writing, the characters, and Lori Prince’s narration is always a treat for my ears. I had to pause a number of times to revel in some great lines that hit me with its poetry! I’ve read a lot of sapphic romance novels and this easily became a favorite!

I’ll listen to anything narrated by Lori Prince, but I really liked the authenticity of this story
