They cast their destinies to the winds of desire.

The year is 1483. Just as beautiful Lady Arabella Grey, the young cousin of England's King Richard III, speaks her wedding vows to Sir Jasper Keane, the Scotsman Tavis Stewart, Earl of Dunmore, abducts Arabella as payment for Jasper's murder of his fiancee. Irresistibly, deliciously, Arabella surrenders to her enemy with fierce abandon - knowing that there may be only one way to get what is rightfully hers....

Contains mature themes.

Character building was strained at first. Quickly established after only a few chapters, Arebella was a true spit fire from beginning to end. I laughed, I cried, I related to the characters. Suburb writing. Fun reading. If I were going to complain about something it would be the three some chapter (almost as painful and memorable as Jack Randall raping Jamie in Outlander).

Rare to find when a book sticks with and centers around the title

Beatrice Small’s talent for weaving stories and history together is spellbinding. The performance was superb!

This story was semi entertaining but disappointing none the less. I usually measure a book by weather I would listen again. This book is a definite “NO”. There are many great characters as well as historical events in this book. But, the heroine is the main problem. The author striving for that “Happily ever after” makes choices for the two main characters which no two people in true life would make. In doing so it is so ver the top and unbelievable.

Over all a decent story but not worth a second listen.

I really love this Author. Narrator was excellent. The heroine was degrading at times. Still there were good parts and annoying parts.

Just OK
