On the surface, capable teenage boys may look lazy. But dig a little deeper, writes child psychologist Adam Price in He's Not Lazy, and you'll often find conflicted boys who want to do well in middle and high school but are afraid to fail and so do not try.

This audiobook can help you become an ally with your son as he discovers greater self-confidence and accepts responsibility for his future.

I love the examples he offers and explainations. It helped to put things in prospective about my son. I suggested this book to a bunch of my friends.

I was looking for something to help me encourage my 17yr old and bring up his self esteem. Listening to this has given me so much insight into how he thinks and why he does what he does. I actually had to buy the book to highlight parts I found significant and have sent it to many parents in the same boat with their boys. I wish I would have found this in 2017.

Life changing

This book was a great help in answering questions about my son and how to approach challenges we face daily.

I have listened to this audible multiple times & I find it absolutely accurate for my son and some of our parenting that only intensified his behaviors. This book has not only opened my mind on how to be a better parent to my son, but to also to stop beating myself up. Our son was Labeled a “More kid” as a toddler and each phase has been challenging for us. We have worked with many therapists and have made some Progress along the way but I feel that many of approaches that Mr Price outlines are spot on and I instantly saw positive parenting changes in myself and responses from our son.

A suggestion for the book I have is that some of the content switches and reads like it is for a son directly instead of as the title suggests, for parents/care givers.

This book is excellent and I highly recommend if you struggle more than “typically” with your son! I only wish I had this many years ago but am grateful to have it now!

Excellent book with Information that is REAL and HELPFUL
