I read 3 out of 4 books in this series. The story is well paced and keeps you engaged. Where things went a little off the rails was with the male narrator. He barely differentiated the male voices unless he made the character have a truly silly voice. At one point I started cracking up because he went from sounding like a William Shatner impression to sounding like a bad Trump impression. I literally could not stop laughing (and this was especially during the spicy scenes). I can’t with this guy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
The female narrator was decent but her male voice sounded like a 13 year old boy going through puberty.
I couldn’t keep listening and was done after the 3rd book.
If you can get past these things, it’s a decent story. Oh but the author just shoehorns some Greek mythology in the middle of the story, just making it more ridiculous.

Interesting story

Great listen. You know it’s good when your on pins and needles to get to the next book. Definitely worth the credit. If you love wolves and other mystical beings this is for you. If hot and heavy stuff is not your thing I don’t recommend! It has some Heavy stuff in it for sure.

Fun and sexy

Wolf’s Calling (Wolves of Crimson Hollow #2) ~ Title: Power unlocked, enemies unmasked, heart claimed x3 Book two hits the gas. Red starts claiming her role—no more reacting. We get training, found-family moments, and a clearer look at the real big bad stalking the Hollow. Valerius shows his scars, Tristan proves why he’s the steady center, and Dante…let’s just say the reckless one finally lets the walls down.
Semi-spoiler: Red’s abilities escalate in a way that ties to the town’s origin—and the enemy isn’t just wolves vs. wolves. There’s a demonic thread tightening, and every win costs something. The steam is A+, but the plot never takes a back seat.
The final chapters set up a rescue/war path that had me one-clicking the next book before the credits rolled. This series has its claws in me.
