Unusual- but enjoyable

The book has many twists and turns. Some parts were very uncomfortable- but the ultimate HEA was so satisfying! It was both heart breaking and heart warming.

great series, interesting characters

I liked the whole series, the back stories were fascinating and the developing love and friendships were compelling.

Will Have You on the Edge of Your Seat

This book and the series tackle some harsh realities of the other side of ton life and the people who make it up. Especially appreciate the realistic insight to slavery and what it was like for women and men. The degradation they go through and the will to survive the heroes and heroine have, make for stories that need to be told.
Thread throughout with strong romances, great friendships and love that lasts, this story and the other two Outcasts books need to be read. Great love stories, courageous writing.

Not as good

I was a bit disappointed with this story. The first two in the series were so good. This book was sad. But that’s not why I didn’t much care for it. I think it’s because there was no real love story throughout. So different then your typical HR book. It was good but not great.
