But you should be careful what you wish for: when a Kregan operative bent on revenge shows up to hunt Kevin down, everything starts to unravel. The galaxy's in grave danger, and it looks like Kevin's the only one who can save it.

Not to worry! The Arcadians have sent their best engineer to help Kevin in his quest...who also happens to be a talking cat with a less than ideal attitude. If Kevin can't whip this motley crew into shape, the galaxy's doomed. Which means Earth is doomed...and as boring as it is, Kevin's starting to realize there's no place like home.

good story and funny too it has action even a dog. what more can you ask for. trust me give it a go

A real fun book! Great narration!
Not your typical sci-fi.
Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

Fun read

I liked the quit humor and the unexpected turns in the story line also the human and animal view point exchange.

A little to much teenage day dream

This was a good book but a little basic. Would fit well in YA category.

Gotta love Christian Kallias

Started this after finishing the Universe in Flames box set. (Which was fantastic). I really enjoyed this story and the characters! Christiana level of detail and imagination makes the whole experience very fun and vivid. You feel like you could definitely learn to be a space pilot after one of his books.
Excited to see where this one goes! On to the next book in the series!
