From the moment PR whiz Jack Sullivan laid eyes on Noelle Kramer, he is consumed by the tenacious beauty, but his dark past and fear of not being worthy prevent him from pursuing her. When the opportunity presents itself for Jack to finally obtain what he desires above all else, he seizes it; consequences be damned.

Noelle Kramer has been in love with Jack Sullivan since their first meeting four years ago, but there's only one problem: he doesn't seem to know she's alive. When a troubled ex resurfaces, threatening to destroy her life and her family's reputation, she turns to Jack to "fix" it. His solution is wildly outrageous...absolutely ludicrous...ridiculously implausible...and everything she's ever yearned for. With no other options and time running out, Noelle takes Jack up on his offer; after all, she has nothing to lose...except her heart and soul.

From the concrete jungle of New York City to the lush, Smoky Mountains of Tennessee, join this unlikely couple as they, along with friends and family, take you on an unforgettable journey of life, love, laughter, and forgiveness.

Contains mature themes.

Love the story. Great plot. Characters that you can't help but fall in love with.

Great Book

I liked this book a lot. There were a lot of laugh out loud moments for me. I really liked the male narrator especially when he did the female voices. Lol! The only feedback I have is if the main female character is African-American then I feel the female narrator should be African-American. It takes away from the story. If you can't find an African American narrator have a male read the entire book, that's just my opinion.

Good book

I have the book on kindle and couldn't pass up the opportunity to have it read to me in audible. These readers do a great job of making the different characters stand out.

I love this series!

I like the story, but I think I’ll read the rest in the series! The female narrator’s version of the male voices is horrible! Her Southern accents sound like bad movie versions of plantation slaves! Who approved this? A Southern accent should be a drop dead sexy drawl!

Female Narrator’s Accents are Horrible!

This was my first book by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. The story was sweet and progressed nicely with a very believable plot. I would’ve given this book 5 stars across-the-board though if not for the female narrator. The male narrator’s voice was absolutely amazing. I loved listening to him and I loved listening to his chapters because his accents were spot on and his southern drawl was super sexy. He really embodied the main male character and even did the female voices better than most male narrators. However I almost returned this book after listening to one chapter of the female narrator. Her narration was by far the worst I’ve ever heard and I have over 300 titles in my Audible. Her “accents”were borderline offensive to the ears, as in, she could not do accents at all. In the book there are Irish British and Russian accents and she failed at every single one of them. I finished the entire book but after about chapter 4 I was just laughing at her at that point. All in all I typically don’t leave negative reviews but the author should really feel slighted by all of the bad reviews simply due to the narration. I never thought that bad narration would ruin a really good book but it almost did in this case. The male narrator saved it. I highly recommend that the author never get this female narrator to narrate one of her books again and I highly recommend that the female narrator stick with just straight plain English voices from now on and not try to attempt southern drawl Irish British Russian or any other accent for that matter in future voice acting work.

Wonderful story, horrible female narrator...
