It was an enjoyable listen

This was an enjoyable short story. I enjoyed it a lot more than the first book and I’m glad I gave it a try.

Nice change of pace

This short novel was a wonderful twist from what you’d expect out of this character.

Loved getting this look into Crispin's life and as usual Sam Roukin nails the narration!!

The lesser brother

This book was so Interesting how he blends religious view’s and the class system reminds me so much of the red rising series mixed with dune after book one I wasn’t so sold of the characters but this book showed me how much he can do with so little I’m hooked and moving from this 1.5 to number two so let’s hope it’s just as good as this one
