Thought Provoking but Outdated

Early portions were remained applicable to the flow of civilization in 2025 with technology and cultural changes fast outpacing human abilities to adapt but much of the remainder contained inaccurate and outdated forecasts of the future and possible ways to address these future issues. Revolutionary for the 1970s but tedious listening in 2025.

Everyone loves a good prescient book

Can’t get everything right with your predictions but Future Shock’s heart is certainly in the right place and definitely gets plenty right. It’s clear even then that people were reading books less because they could’ve learned quite a bit about making this world a better place by indulging Future Shock.

This should have been required reading before we entered into the 2000’s
Everything in this booked has happened and actually amplified…we will never be able to adjust. Our best outcome is to triage the damage and make this required reading for all new businesses in the world that will begin in 2023!
