This is a great book! Great as a gift for high school students. This book should be included in all school libraries.

What a bunch of stand up guys these men were. Overcoming the challenges of combat and racism with professionalism is inspiring.

Wonderful story with such harsh circumstances

AWESOME!! I had heard stories of Tuskegee Airman, but this will go into my top three. I loved how the book broke down each chapter and brought forward a glimpse of life during WWII for these pilots of colour.

More than a WWII Story

An inspiring story of a Tuskegee Airman from his initial interest in flight, through training and deployment, to his life after service. it's not an exhaustive examination of the Tuskegee Airman, but an informative intro.

Beautifully written, but the title is misleading.

It's extremely well written but ww2 is a very small fraction of this book. Most of it is before ww2 and after. I was hoping for a more in depth look into the 332nd's ww2 story.
