Excellent

Anne Lamott managed to write a creative work that is both entertaining and touching on serious issues like sexual abuse and alcoholism. I really enjoyed this book!

Ms Lamott captured all the correct emotions of her topic

Perfectly captures the shame, anxiety, loneliness, irrational fears and yes immense love I felt as a child of an alcoholic mother. It’s a complex subject handled beautifully by Anne Lamott. Cathartic and lovely to read.

Dreary story

Dislikeable characters. Mouthy kid. Negligent mom. Sad atmosphere. Ambiguous to the max. Pretty much a waste of time.
