I enjoyed hearing the classic stories and novels that I already knew and loved, and greatly enjoyed many stories that were new to me (such as McWilliamses and the Burglar Alarm). Lee Howard read exceptionally well - good timing, good use of expressive voice. To criticize him for not having a southern accent is like criticizing someone for reading Dickens with an American accent.

Great reader, great stories

Not terrible...but, close.😁
The narrator doesn't know the language. Hopefully, there's something on Audible, covering the "range" of work, contained herein, performed adequately. Disappointing.

Content; GREAT! Performance.. .not so much😁

So far I have only read a portion, performance is great, clear and full of emotion. I did notice that the well-known warnings at the beginning of Huck Finn are missing, which would be something to regret.

Great reading, some editorial mishaps.
