Narrators weren’t for me.

Loved the promise of this story but I didn’t feel the narrators were a good fit for the characters. They seemed to echo and every word felt drawn out; it distracted from the story. I think the story itself had the potential, I loved the beginning to this book.
From the moment Shyla and Clyde got together it seemed the story lost its umph, like their lives were just being read and not felt. The potential seemed to dwindle.
So as much as I love this author and I wanted to really love this book, I couldn’t connect with it like I have other romances through her words.

Shyla and Clyde
An emotional angsty, witty, and heartfelt story of love, loss, and discovering that there is always a second chance. Sapphire Knight never ceases to amaze me.
Narration was ok. There were times that you can hear the male narrator breathing real hard like he was out of breath and it was distracting but it did not take away from the story.

3 Times the Heat
I absolutely loved this audio. The love story just had me on my toes. Natalie Bamford southern drawl was excellent. Even though this is a series you can listen or read as a stand alone.

Second chance
Clyde and Shyla’s story was amazing! I enjoyed her relentless pursuit to win back the man she loves. The woman lost him once and is willing to do whatever it takes to get his attention.
Clyde had his heart crushed by the woman he loves with all their family and friends as witnesses. The last thing he wants is to give her the time of day.
I loved the voice actors, they did a splendid job capturing the story.
