Twisted treasure hunt

The storyline was gripping, filled with suspense and anxiety. 36 hours is my second to the one about Kim's childhood, mother, and her mentor.
Totally worth the read!

Characters

Love this author and her Kim Stone series! She has developed each one of the characters through their relationship with the Guv and their respective partners. Wish I wasn’t all caught up with the series. Happy Holidays!!

Not one of her best

I am a huge fan of this series but this book dragged on and on. I guessed who the real killer was early on. The last 90 minutes were the best part if the book. However there was not enough character investment in the core group to hols my interest. Usually I am caught up in the detectives’ lives; this story was very focused on the case and following detailed clues—- almost a love letter to the Black Country. Much less interesting.

Another great story!

I don’t know where Angela gets her ideas from,… but I hope they keep coming. Every crime story of Kim and her colleagues is so different from the ones before. I love that there are so many twists and turns, that I have a hard time anticipating the next move. I think I’ve got it and the story turns a completely different direction. Keep up the good work, Angela!

Absolutely adore this author! I have read every single one of her books and I’m a true fan. I cried when she killed off one of her police detectives as if he was someone in my own family. You will never, ever be disappointed in her books.

Angela Marsons has created a world so captivating and interesting that when her new releases come out, I always pause any other reading to read the new work. Her characters, especially Kim Stone, are all complicated but in such a real way that they are still relatable. Keep them coming, please!
