  • The Sentencing of Bryan Kohberger
    Jul 24 2025
As a judge told Bryan Kohberger he would die in prison, the families of Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves and Xana Kernodle courageously spoke out in court, honoring the lives of their loved ones and speaking openly about the trauma they have endured. The court also heard tearful words from surviving roommates Dylan Mortensen and Bethany Funke, whose lives were forever changed that night on King Road in Moscow, Idaho. 48 Hours correspondent Peter Van Sant reflects on the emotional day and how people are coming to terms with not knowing the “why” in this case with CBS News legal analyst Mary Fulginiti and Washington State University journalism professor Matt Loveless. while the stories are good the audio in the pod cast is terrible. it's so low I can hardly hear it though my car speakers, I changed to ear buds hoping that would help but no go still low. this is with both my device and speakers on maximum volume. I can hear the ads great though.

Audio is Terrible

I was hanging on every word as this whodunit unfolded, complete with strong vocal performances and that distinctive 48 Hours music. I enjoyed the details of the story, as anonymous letters revealing all the goings-on in Circleville arrived by the hundreds to unsuspecting residents over the course of three decades. Was the wrong person convicted of the murder of the adulterous bus driver? Listen in to form your own opinion.

Poison Pen Letters Remain Unsolvex

Worst that American idiot finally! 1-2 minutes of commercials every 5 minutes! Great stories but the commercials are far too distracting for a 30-50 minute podcast.

Far too many commercials
