On her wedding day, Lily bolted out of the hotel when he discovered something from his fiance. She flew to a random location and met her long-time enemy and the best friend of her brother, Alex. Then the story is mostly what happened during their time together. (NOTE: Has mature scenes)

Did like Alex and his stance on things. He did get tempted but then he tried to correct things especially redirecting Lily and her relationship with her family. I am not that fond with Lily. Though I know her relationship with her family was strained, she could have handled her return a little better/sooner. Or at least be calm and not on the offensive. i also doubt the strength of her feelings (Alex seem like a rebound affair). If she was so eager to meet with him because of the strength of her feelings, she should have been prudent in certain things.
I had the audiobook and the narrator was good, though I would have preferred for her to change Alex' voice. If not for the narration on who is talking, you wouldn't really recognize if it was a male or female character was the one talking. Also, I did find the ending a little rush, and the lady in the park - not sure what her relevance was.

Nevertheless, a good quick read about a second chance at a new love.

The narrator did a great job with narration of all the characters. I enjoyed the story but parts seemed a little unbelievable. Lily flees from her wedding day cause of her cheating fiance. She ends up running into Alex while on vacation and so begins a love affair. Overall a good book about second chances and finding love where you least expect it..

I enjoyed the narration of Ann Fritz

I do not think any time is a good time, to find out your fiancé is cheating. Lily finds her fiancé cheated on her on their wedding day. So she gets the first flight available and its to Miami . Her brother's best friend Alex helps her get a room.
Lily and Alex ended up spending time together, but he needs to get back to his daughter and she needs to settle things with her family. Can these two have a future.
