Very good world building! At times it got pretty scientific but you can’t say you didn’t have all the info!

A love story of a vampire and a witch

I like the storyline as well as the performer. The discovery of Dianna's powers is weaved though a tail of an ancient packt of deacons, 🧙‍♀️ and vampires.

I loved the diversity, equity, and inclusion. So relavant today. Inter species relationships are relevant.

Bow down to Jennifer Ikeda’s narration

This book is fabulous but Ikeda’s narration makes it sing. While listening one forgets there is only one person doing this multiple accent, gender, age character story.

I loved this book!

For years I had been intrigued by The Discovery of Witches show and had never watched it. When it was released on Netflix I watched the entire series and knew immediately that I would have to “read” the books. This book did not disappoint. It was a wonderful love story and understanding the motivations and details made every character so much richer. Jennifer gave a great performance with each of the characters. I can’t wait to continue the series.

well written, well read

A well crafted story with a nice literary syle. The story is interesting and has unusual and well developed characters. This really is not my usual book interest, but it definitely grabs and holds the attention. I found the reader to be excellent for the book and would certainly choose both the writer and the reader again. I hope this high standard will be repeated in subsequent volumes
