Publisher's summary

They have witnessed what is beyond the bounds of possibility. Lights sailing across Nevada's desert night sky in fluid and rapid motions that are impossible for even the most technologically advanced aircraft. They have encountered those responsible for the unexplained. Men in black suits, white lab coats, and military uniforms who do not want their secrets exposed.

Brought together by fate - or phenomena - heiress Jennifer Quinn, journalist Timika Mars, pilot Alan Young, and ex-Marine Barry Regis are bonded by the incidents they've witnessed, hunted by agents of a wealthy corporate cabal desperate for unimaginable power, and possessed of extraordinary abilities they do not understand, much less control.

Now, they're on a mission of their own. As Alan and Barry test the limits of their strange gifts inside the military complex known as Dreamland, Jennifer and Timika begin a quest to locate an ancient tablet that may hold the answers to humanity's greatest question.

Are we alone in the universe?

Based on the accounts of credible UAP observers drawn from expert sources within the scientific, military and intelligence communities, Sekret Machines: A Fire Within is the second fiction book within a multimedia project that has become part of the most ambitious investigation of the phenomenon in history.

Different ending please

Great story. Picked up wonderfully from where 1st book left off. Horrible ending. Absolutely disappointing way to end a great story spanning 2 books.

I freaking love this stuff

I'm so appreciative that somebody that is diligent and has made the right connections is attempting to release this kind of information to the world and I'll take it in whatever form I can get it.

Chasing Shadows Pt2

This book picks up where Chasing Shadows left off, and Introduces a few new characters! A fun way to get some concepts about our origins and military technology to the public.

Like a Dan Brown novel!

Simple review. I really enjoyed this book. Better than I expected. Some of the other reviews made me cautious, but the hours listening to it went by fast.

I enjoyed it but wanted more proof alien's exist!

I throughly enjoyed the first book and expected for this one to start off exactly where the first one ended. It was close but there was a bit of the story missing for me. I am eagerly awaiting the next one and would love to see a movie but,(*1st book spoiler alert) the first book ended with Allen speaking with what seemed to be "the men in black." I wanted to see how that played out. I was also waiting for some 'big revalations' by Mr Delonge of the real ufo story. I guess it just wasn't exactly what I was expecting but who knows maybe there are magic stone tablets and maybe some similar events actually took place.

Narration was amazing! Until.Every.Single.S-word.

The story is captivating and then some. I am impressed with the narrator's ability to embody the various characters throughout the story. He has a pleasant voice...UNTIL..ANY SINGLE S-WORD COMES ALONG! I mean common, this could have been taken care of in the studio for God's sake. YOWZA! I have to turn my sound system's base to max and treble and mid to minimum to even tolerate the screeching whistles this man naturally finds himself to be capable of. It freaking hurts! It's not as if I don't rock out either... dude. please revisit this recording and silence the screeching s whistles!! PLEASE!! 🙏

Big fan of Sci Fi and UFO “theories”

Tom and AJ do a good job of blending real UFO reports- from Roswell to the one that shut down an airport in Japan in 2010- they incorporate them and many more into a fun Sci Fi/ action read! I enjoyed this one and the first book.. Only “criticism”- it is a bit “wooden” at times, especially when you can tell they are using a story arch to insert specific details about a crash, or a crop circle or something.. I understand the why but feel it could be incorporated into the flow of the story better at times. Some dialogue is a little forced but overall- a good job!

I will assume 3rd book will be Epic!

I do enjoy the multiple characters and story lines in series. Very interesting, seem their was a lot in the background that was intended to be in the book but was not. I would suggest to read Greek mythology before you start this series makes it much more interesting.
