Publisher's summary

"Red Wine and Blood": The Blood Wars raged for centuries across Boston. Witness a brief glimpse into the brutal history of the Wars with Ignacio Salvatore and the vampire he loves, Ashwin Metcalfe, in 1897.

"A History of Trouble": Angel was joking when he asked O'Malley if someone resurrected a mammoth. Little did he know that was exactly what someone did. Experience the untold story of what happened that unfortunate night at the Boston Public Museum.

"A Dragon in the City": What happens when Eroch goes adventuring in Beacon Hill without Angel? Chaos, pure chaos.

"Fae's Gold": Daniel is helping the newly-resurrected fae, Ruairi Brennan, become accustomed to modern-day living. A boring trip to the bank quickly escalates, and Daniel calls Angel for help. The day goes downhill from there but ends in a comfy meal in a pub for an ancient fae warrior and a necromancer's apprentice.

Contains mature themes.

I would end the world for Rory and Daniel

The first story is fab and I want to know way more about the first(?) Salvatore/vampire bond, especially since it's mentioned it'll take about thirty years total for the bond to settle fully in place rather than the weeks/months it took his descendents.

Mammoth story was delightful because... Angel. People being dumb, Angel being exasperated, magic going wonky. Mammoths. A day in Erochs life was interesting and one Id listen to again! Not my fave of the four but definitely fun.

The majority of the book is the last Fae's Gold and it is everything I need in my life. This story brings me utter joy, though one of the main cast being "he's a pasychopath!" When Cian comes up makes me sigh. Being a psychopath doesn't mean cold blooded murderer - it doesn't make a person BAD. Cian did bad things and felt no remorse about it, but I dare any of the main cast to say they'd not do the same if the literal half of their soul was going to die after years beyond counting, from birth, and they thought they could save them at the cost of some lives of people they didn't know.

That aside, this story is everything glorious in the world. I need the story of Daniel and Rory like air and I'm so excited for it. Daniel is blatant but hesitant, Rory respectful but also makes his affection known. The casual physical care between the two is sweet and slow. Rory will protect Daniel at all costs but Daniel also doesn't hesitate to step in to do damage control insofar as he can.

I just. I love them. As much as I enjoyed the other stories, I'd have bought this audiobook (and book) just for Fae's Gold.

... Which I did. I bought them both for Fae's Gold. Enjoying the others was just bonus.

Good story. Good narration.

This was a wonderful collection of interludes taking place throughout the Beacon Hill Sorcerer series. Eroch's story might be my favorite part of the series so far.

If you enjoy the series, this collection is a must read.

Loved this...

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to these vignettes...specifically A Dragon in the City and hearing how Eroch see's the world. Also enjoyed watching the development of the relationship between Daniel and Ruairi...(spoiler) the bank scene was so tense. A great listen!

These small ficlets are wonderful to listen to, they give a small look into the lives of the characters in the series. Plus an Eroch story, which I can never get enough of. I do so love Eroch!

Joel Leslie Nailed It

As always Mr. Leslie knows what he is doing, another fun, entertaining performance. Eroch was the best

AMAZING

AMAZING! Another great add to this series and audio by Leslie. I love this Universe and with each book or short story it just makes me more excited. I don't want to give too much away or spoilers but you'll love each. Leslie sets the right tone and emotion to each sort story and flows perfectly into each. Can't wait for the next.

Red Wine And Blood: This is a glimpses at the Bloodwar and some of the Salvatore family and their friends. So Beacon Hills Sorcerer #0.5.

A History Of Trouble: This is the mammoth case that was mentioned at the end of book 1. Beacon Hills Sorcerer #1.5.

A Dragon In The City: A day in the life of this wee beastie! Beacon Hills Sorcerer #3.4.

Fae's Gold: Great glimpse at what we have to look forward to with Daniel and Rory's book. They are just too damn cute and sweet I'm already addicted to them. Beacon Hills Sorcerer #3.5.

loved it!

Great collection of short stories and glimpses into the Beacon Hill world.

I loved Eroch's story ... I really enjoy it when an author gives us a story from an animal's POV - I think we need one of these glimpses into the wee beastie at the end of each book!

This series has been a plethora of character and accents for Joel Leslie and his skill as a narrator never disappoint's.
