Worth the read if you want to laugh.

This is a funny, fantasy romance that keeps you guessing.
The narrator does a fantastic job making the story come to life.

I just cannot finish this book!!!

I love this author but this vampire series is lacking. I just cannot make myself listen anymore. Even when I had nothing new in my library, I had to re-listen to old favorites. I felt the narrator just could not construct the humor in the blueprint of this book. Therefore, I just could not appreciate the tone of the characters. I thought perhaps I was not in the right mood for it at the first listen, so I paused to listen to another. Every time I returned to the book I felt like it was just wasting my time.

Other series by this author are fantastic. This vampire shtik just doesn't work.Im too disappointed to try another by this author and narrator. I cannot recommend this book!

If they can't do the accent ...

then they shouldn't narrate the book. The bizarre Austrian accent was just too strange and made it impossible to enjoy this book. The story idea sounded good, but the narration just killed it. I'll have to add Nicole Poole to my list of narrators to avoid. I wouldn't recomend this recording.

Is that suppoze to be sexy?

What disappointed you about A Tale of Two Vampires?

The narrator was so irritating I could not even finish the audiobook. Every time there was a sex scene the narrator dropped into this nasal, deep tone that sounded like someone delivering a bad punchline. There wasn't much to the story either. Completely predictable with no real build-up it just dragged on to the point that I lost interest halfway through.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Ever After by Kim Harrison.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

The narrator was horrible.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from A Tale of Two Vampires?

I would cut the narrator and start from scratch with a non-cliche plot.

Any additional comments?

Don't waste your money on this one. It's that bad!

Cheesy story

I think it was supposed to be sexy and funny. It was cheesy and corny!
