From Jeffery Deaver -- the New York Times bestselling author of the upcoming Lincoln Rhyme novel The Kill Room -- comes an original short story featuring Rhyme.

When a young woman is found brutally murdered in a parking garage, with a veritable mountain of potential evidence to sift through, it may be the most challenging case former NYPD detective Lincoln Rhyme has ever taken on.

Not Deavers best, but in his top 10%. Worth the time, but did not pull me in like some of his stories.
Still, better than many other authors.

Good Story

I found this book totally enthralling. This is the first Deaver book I have listened to, but I do believe I will get more of his books. It was a surprise, to me, as who did it.

WONDERFUL READ/LISTEN

There's no heavy lifting here, story-wise, but the performances are good and it's an amusing confection.

Bite sized fun

This novella/short story is a clever little story. Like most of Jeffrey Deaver's books it is a sold 3 star.

Wonderful narration!

Even though we readers would like every plot to be a 13-hour novel, authors are not required to turn every idea into a saga. This is a nice little story. Could it be longer? Sure, we trust Deaver could have made it longer. But that's okay. Short and sweet. All about the evidence.

January LaVoy is great when she reads the Katherine Dance books. Edoardo Ballerini is superb reading the Rhyme books. I am not a fan of mixing readers in one book. I have never heard it work out. When it's just a book, it is actually disruptive for a second voice to interject. When it is written as an audio play, you usually can't distinguish the characters.

But enjoy this for what it is.
