About this listen

Can she find happiness and love in the place she once only wanted to leave?

As the youngest Holley sister, Miriam has always been a bit of a rebel. After spending several years backpacking through Europe and Australia, she’s now back home...unemployed and pregnant, with no boyfriend or husband in sight.

At first, Miriam only wants to hide away from the shocked and prying eyes of her father’s parishioners, but her sisters won’t let her. Determined to help her find her way, they urge Miriam to accept a job working as an assistant to Simon, the new vicar...and to think about what will happen when the baby comes.

As Miriam starts putting down roots, she finds an unexpected friendship in her sister Rachel’s ex-fiancé, Dan Taylor. And as she thinks about her future, she finds hope and healing in the most unexpected places. But when the past rushes up to meet both her and Dan, can Miriam stay the course?

I love following the four sisters through trials and triumphs. Sweet series. I’m imagining just what the families are doing today.

I loved exploring each sisters personality and how Jamie’s death affected them

I loved everything about the stories and disliked nothing! I love the setting of Cumbria and the Lake District

Cute Story

This last story about the Holley sisters was just as charming as the previous three and I especially enjoyed how Kate tired up all of the loose ends in an encompassing epilogue.
The only negative thing I have to say about this one is, you could make a drinking game out of how many times then term “bump” was used to describe Mirriam’s pregnant tummy. It was the tiniest bit cringey
Worth the listen anyway though!

I really loved the ending to this series!

Loved the characters, the truth of faith and love producing healing. Another redeeming, clean romance with some humor thrown in there. Highly recommend!

It was a good clean story

Very predictable but good and I like that it has a good morality to it.

always good to "visit" the Holly family again

Dive in to a town of lovable characters in a warm cozy novel. it's always good to visit the Holly sisters . The story was annoyingly predictable at times though. Possibly it has a bit too much foreshadowing. Overall though, as part of the series, it was a fun listen.
