After her parents are murdered in Barbados, fifteen year-old Rebecca Osborne sails to America to begin a new life with her Aunt Bridgett. Arriving in Salem Village, Rebecca feels unaccepted by the Puritan community and is desperate for a new identity. One night during a full moon, she has a chance encounter with the village witch Agnes and together they form an intimate friendship. Their friendship is put to the test when the witch trials break out and now Rebecca must decide if her new life is worth facing the gallows!
