AFC South Preview & the Return of the Walrus (& other injury designations/updates)

  • Resumen

  • Darren Waller is officially back! Hold off on the panic button, as that alarm does not need to be sounded just yet. The people's TE 2 looks to be healthy heading into the season, as his injury situation finally has some clarity with his return to practice this week! We not only welcome back Darren, but Devonta Smith returns to individual drills, as we continue to ride the hype train for the reigning Heisman Trophy Winner. Hopefully the time back at camp will help ensure a successful rookie campaign in what looks to be a very questionable situation in Philadelphia. His situation is something to monitor throughout the course of the rest of the offseason & August. Chase Claypool picks up what looks to be a "Minor" ankle sprain, but the severity is yet to be seen, we'll see over the next few days and weeks how serious the injury actually is.

I spend the majority of this episode description talking about all the injury concerns and designations when the majority of the actual podcast and episode features the AFC South & my expectations, and rankings for the fantasy relevant players of the Colts, Titans, Texans, and Jaguars. Today's show was a lot of fun talking about some divisive players in the Fantasy World, such as the likes of Julio Jones, and Derrick Henry. But, we also cover players such as Trevor Lawrence, James Robinson, Travis Etienne, AJ Brown, Johnathan Taylor, Phillip Lindsay, Ryan Tannehill, among a few others!

Thanks for tuning into the podcast today, I can't thank you all enough! Stay tuned for Friday's episode where we deconstruct the NFC West as we round third base, and head home as we wrap up the last two division's in football. We'll cover the NFC West on Friday's podcast, and next Tuesday will be the AFC West. I hope you will all join me, as I certainly can't wait, especially for the NFC West (aka the best division in football) but as each day passes we draw closer and closer to the all elusive, and ever-exciting NFL season. Thanks for listening and I wish you all the best. Cheers!
