Publisher's summary

New York Times bestselling author Axie Oh's ASAP is the much anticipated companion novel to beloved romance XOXO, following fan favorites Sori, the wealthy daughter of a K-pop company owner, and Nathaniel, her K-pop star ex-boyfriend, in a swoon-worthy second chance love story.

Sori has worked her whole life to become a K-pop idol, until she realizes she doesn’t want a life forever in the spotlight. But that’s not actually up to Sori—she’s caught between her exacting mother’s entertainment company and her father’s presidential aspirations. And as the pressure to keep her flawless public image grows, the last person she should be thinking about is her ex-boyfriend.

Nathaniel is off limits—she knows this. A member of one of the biggest K-pop bands in the world and forbidden from dating, he isn’t any more of an option now than he was two years ago. Still, she can’t forget that their whirlwind romance was the last time she remembers being really happy. Or that his family welcomed her into their home when she needed it most. . . .

So when Nathaniel finds himself rocked by scandal, Sori offers him a hideaway with her. And back in close quarters, it’s hard to deny their old feelings. But when Sori gets an opportunity to break free from her parent’s expectations, she will have to decide: Is her future worth sacrificing for a second chance at love?

Satisfactory sequel

Oh delivered the goods with ASAP. It was a great break from the heavier drama I’ve been reading with the beautiful imagery and fluff but was well weighted with topics of child neglect and abuse of the paparazzi. This was a couple that was just meant to be and I loved every moment of their love story.

Well Developed. Feels like a Kdrama in my mind

Greetings!
I am Jay and I loved this read/listen.
For context, I am a young adult male who just recently recovered from a dark period in my life and escaping into Dramas (Korean and Chinese) has become one of my new healthy coping mechanisms/hobbies/guilty pleasures. I am fairly active and have developed a love for audiobooks over the years for it’s convenience and immediacy. On the go and in stride - I can press play and experience a story. From Sci Fi to Fantasy to Education to Axie Oh and heart Throbbing fictions. I am particular and hard to please when it comes to my next read as these credits are precious. I say all of this to say that these stories-XoXo and AsAp were credits well spent and I feel an ache in my heart from this tales ending. This is high praise from me as I hardly everrrrr leave a review. I suppose that something in me wants to be heard. Please keep developing these characters and their individual narratives. I hope to escape the harsh facts of my reality by immersing myself into your story telling once again.
Thank you. Not so much a review, but a Thank You for your work and talent.
