Publisher's summary

In New York Times best-selling author Lynsay Sands' new Argeneau novel, a vampire accustomed to seducing every woman he meets finds the one determined to resist him....

With immortal good looks and scorching charisma, Justin Bricker has yet to meet a woman he can't win over. His potential life mate should be no different. But instead of falling into his bed, Holly Bosley runs away and ends up mortally wounded. To save her, he has to turn her. And then Bricker learns the shocking truth: Holly's already married.

Holly wakes up with a bump on her head, a craving for blood, and a sexy stranger who insists they belong together. She needs Bricker's help to control her new abilities even as she tries to resist his relentless seduction. Choosing between the world she knows and the eternity he offers is impossible. But Justin is fighting for his life mate - maybe even his life - and he'll break every rule to do it....

Good series, good book

People can say whatever they will about the subject of Holly being married but you can obviously tell it is a marriage of convenience and friendship, not of true heart pounding love. Don't discredit the writing and story line before reading it. I've loved every single book of this series, I own all of them! Gotta love Lynsay Sands books!

as usual I loved the book.

I've read every book in this series and absolutely love them. Lynsay Sands has a real talent in creating a story that grabs your attention right from the start. I can't wait fir the next book.....maybe it will be one of the Italian twins getting tied in knots trying to win their life mates.

Justin Bricker and Holly

Holly is doing the taxes for a funeral parlor. She has to return to her job site as she forgot her blood testing equipment and insulin. When she finds some papers that need to be at the crematorium, she takes them over there. As she is in her pajamas and it is dark and spooky she takes a pair of scissors for self defense. At the crematorium she sees three man throwing dead bodies haphazardly into the fire. One of them sees her and chases her out of the building. She tries to slit Justin's throat and trips as she is running and hits her head on the sidewalk stabbbing herself with the scissors. Justin who was chasing her realizes she is dying and can't stand to let her die and changes her into an Immortal. He soon realizes she is his potential life mate. So many unusual, funny and sad things happen to them, he may never be able to claim her.

Another Great Storry

Ms. Sands you have 22 books--all of them different . Amazing. I was happy to hear a new story was out, not knowing what was left to change the approach, who remained to find a life mate to the Argeneau Novels--But you polled it off. I laughed--and really had fun reading book 22. Can't wait until next year.
