Deep calls to deep
This book ushered me to a deeper understanding of what it means to surrender. My favorite part was the in-depth exploration of the vine and branches Scripture toward the end. Can't wait to listen to more of his work.

Is your faith lacking in power?
A priceless listen for Christians (like me) who have struggled with going "all in" for Jesus or who waffle back and forth between God and the world. Murray shows the way to a deeper and far more fulfilling walk with the Lord Jesus.
This book is simple in delivery but deep in meaning. Murray teaches using language that's easy to access. Yet the reader quickly realizes these lessons need to be read/heard more than once and meditated upon (in the Christian sense of that word).
Murray shares simple truths to bring you into surrender and obedience to Jesus. I admit when I first listened, it took awhile to get my head around his wisdom because it was so straightforward. "Should it be more complex than this?" I kept thinking to myself. Prayerfully reading/listening to this work will yield a massive return for the believer. Simon Vance is outstanding in his narration (as always), adding to the blessing I received from this work.

Just plain good
Best of Murrays stuff. Absolute surrender is a very easy concept but extremely difficult to do. Murray address this well. I'd also recommend The Normal Christian Life by Née.

Every Christian will be blessed after this read
Why would we not read this? How the writings of old have been forgotten and are in need of dusting off. Read this and other writings of Andrew Murray and you will see how things are not very different from 100 years ago to today. That said, it proves we still have some growth to be done...not in building but in spirit.
