Publisher's summary

"Welcome to Hell" was not what Lacy expected to hear on the day she died....

Lacy lived her human life under the thumb of an abusive husband. She freed herself from that life and started a new one as a high school teacher. When a group of terrorists tried to take over the school and use it for their own evil purpose, Lacy could not stand by and watch her students being threatened.

That was how her human life ended and her new life as an elite guard began. The new leader of Hell offered her a job she couldn't refuse, helping those who need her, keeping both Hell and Earth safe.

Evil forces are gathering and Lacy must get her training done and be ready to fight when the time comes. There is just one tiny distraction. Liam has been a resident of Greed for more years than he cared to admit. He earned his way out though, and Lacy knows that he belongs to her. He is just the right man to give her hope and make her have faith in love once again.

GREAT ADDITION TO THE SERIES!

Would you consider the audio edition of Absolution to be better than the print version?

Isnt it always? But I only listened!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Absolution?

Lacy's bravery for one...she really does deserve to be an angel!

Which character – as performed by Miles Taylor – was your favorite?

Ash as always!

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I did!

Any additional comments?

** I was given a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review **

I love this series, its a great continuing story..the writing is very down to earth and the story never gets boring...it flows very well and I cant wait for book 5! This is Lacy's story...she is recruited to hell as a new guardian...and easily falls into this new position...She also is blessed with a gift that calms people, and this is a good trait to have with this group of demons and angels...lol They finally find out who is trying to get into hell and open the gateway...and there is a war that ensues...but of course Ash and his angels win! Loved it...love Miles...and I hope book 5 comes out soon!!

Thank You Miles!!! :)

Angels in Hell

If you could sum up Absolution in three words, what would they be?

Angels in Hell or Oh My God, or Seven Deadly Sins, or Love Conquers All, or Good versus Evil! That's a hard question, I can't seem to come up with an all in-compassing answer.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Ash, of course. The alpha of the group had so much on his mind, so much to bring about, so much to coordinate, and yet you can just feel the love he has for everyone and so afraid at the same time that he could fail. It is all on his shoulders, a man with hard decisions to make.

Which scene was your favorite?

Another hard question, being as I loved every scene. I will say at the beginning when Lacy went into action with the kids at the school, knowing the school was going into lock down. She was so prepared for anything and so brave which seemed to be innate in her.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Again, I wish this wasn't one of the questions to answer, I always feel like my answer is so lame. I will say Angels in Hell.

Any additional comments?

I have read a few angel stories and could take them or leave them, werewolves and vampires romance books are what I usually read. I listened to this in one setting, could not stop till the end. Loved the fast pace, it just flowed. I was hooked from the very start. The angels are portrayed as just normal everyday beings with feelings and actions as they were before death. Danielle James is an awesome writer and the narrator was great. Loved all the characters, just hope the author will ask me to review the next book in the series.

Freeing Demons!!

Not suitable for anyone under the age of 18. Contains language and graphic sex scenes.

Author Danielle James has outdone herself again. She is a very talented writer and each story blows my mind. This is a series that you will never want to end and I can guarantee you'll be hooked from the first few pages. I know I am hooked like a junky needing a fix. If the books aren't for you then you must be like me and you should give the audiobooks a try. I promise you won't go wrong there. I'm sorry but I can't, no I won't be giving you any details away. because I feel you really should hop on and take this journey yourself. I can say it's packed with action, mystery, romance, and many twists and turns along the way.

Miles Taylor is another talented narrator. I know when he's the narrator that I better hold on because I'm in for one Hell of a ride. The voices of each character are distinguished well enough that I'm able to identify each character who's speaking throughout the story. Miles makes me feel as if I'm watching this story play out and I can see it all as if I'm there. I say that, I do mean that so much and I wish I wasn't inside the story in the one scene that's close to the beginning. I won't spoil it though I'm sorry. Overall, a perfect 5 rating!

Angles among us

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I never thought about the possibility of someone becoming an angel after they died guess I always thought Angels were always there and never new ones. I had the first book in the series and didn't even realize it. Now on to listen to it and see how this all got started.

Absolution

I had a hard time keeping up with this book. I'm afraid that I should have read the first 3 before I read this one. I received it for free and gave it an honest go. The book was confusing and hard to decifer. I do not like books that I can't just easily follow along with. The narrator bothered me also. The voice just didn't fit the book. Some people would like this kind of book, that's why I gave it a 3, but I wasn't totally in to this book.
