Lots of information

Lots of information within this book – some of it in my opinion, not necessary. Regardless of the information, the pronunciation of some words drove my OCD mind crazy. I can’t listen to another book by this narrator. It’s inventory, not invent-ory.

A brief guide on what accounting is all about. It breaks down the steps and elements of what accounting is all about and why things are done. There are samples of what components look like so you can get a better understanding.

Be an accountant

This audiobook has lots of good knowledge in it for a small business owner that can’t afford to hire an accountant. I learned a few things I didn’t know and helped explain and give a much better understanding of other subjects. If you have or are starting a small business, you can’t go wrong knowing more about accounting, even if you do have an accountant.

It will help you understand the terminology of accounting. The book does not touch on the types of accounting software able. You’ll have done your own research for software.

It will help you learn the basics of business finance. It really helps gain more insight on what questions you should be asking your accountant. It also helps to give you some basic knowledge of how the account works so as you study further you have something to go off of.

Great book

This audible goes over the ideas holding the principles of accounting and gives some examples of them in action. It's not exhaustive, but I did find it a great way to get started learning something I knew nothing about.

Easy To Understand

I'm not an accountant but wanted a better understanding of the subject for my own personal knowledge. The book is well written easy to follow and has several examples of what it is trying to explain. I found the book to be helpful to understand with a great deal of information.

A Definite Start

This book was a definite start. It highlighted all the 'must dos' that I have completely missed from day one. Thanks to this book, I am in a much better position in keeping track of my new startup.

This audiobook is well put together and gives the information to the student in a clear way. As I am learning this subject in college, this audible has made it easier and more effective to learn accounting.

Good Tips

This book offers some great tips. It was very helpful to me because I was able to learn some new info along the lines of payroll, should I outsource some work. If you're thinking of starting your own business and need some quick reference, in addition to professional accountant tips, this would be a great resource.
