Really Good

Thoroughly enjoyed this book, the MC is likable and not stupid. The pacing was perfect and kept me interested. Not looking forward to this void until June 3rd for book two.

Phenomenal world building and character development

Seth Ring is phenomenal at world-building and character development. I don’t know how he does it, but he continues to create new worlds and characters in a way that feels both immersive and effortless. With every book, I find myself fully invested in the story, and Advent is no exception.

I have loved every world and story Seth Ring has created, and this one is no different. I highly recommend this book and eagerly await the next installment in the series—hopefully, with many more books to come!

why is it so good!

I can't wait for the next one in the series. it was so well done. I absolutely love this author. if you give this book a shot you will definitely not regret it.

Really good

Really enjoyed the story and the cat was definitely the best character of the story. the MC was good even if extremely naive is some stuff but can easily move pass that because he is capable and hard working. the villains are the cliche villains like in any super heroes story where the city is besieged by extremely large numbers of enemies. and the epilogue made me rolled my eyes tbh with how obvious it was with the "reveal" of the one pulling the strings in the shadows. Will still get book 2 when it comes out

Loved it

I really hope mark stays friends with Noah amazing book as always! I can’t wait for the next one to release. I hope this because a main series and last a long time!

What more can I say than, I want more.

Every character, every power, every challenge adds, piece by piece, to the already amazing Endless Worlds. Advent is a great addition to this expanding universe, and I’m looking forward to seeing where the story takes Matt, and Mime.

Great story

Really enjoy the author alot. This new series is going to be really good. I hope that it ends up being a huge series like the nova Tera were.

An excellent start of a new series

Seth Ring crafts another exciting series that, while sharing elements of other litRPG books, has made this book uniquely different from others. The MC is a good-natured, likable unpowered character but easily able to become invested in. His life takes a dramatic change when he, unknowingly, becomes infected with a, presumably, enemy life force which give him a strange power to assimilate the characteristics of materials he touches. The secondary characters' backstories are also intriguing, making investment in them also easy.

What follows is discovery of deadly political machinations and diabolical super-soldier experimentation that keeps the listener engaged and surprised throughout, making it difficult to not binge on listening to the end.

Pavi Proczko performance is also top notch, adding to the listening pleasure.

Interesting story

Interesting premise. What the story lacks in context it makes up for in the development in characters and plot line. Pavi Proczko does an excellent job and adds depth to the story with his performance. Mime, the cat, is a bit of an enigma but no doubt all will be revealed in due time. Seth Ring is not only an incredibly prolific author but is extremely imaginative and creative. I've enjoyed all his work to date including this new series. I recently finished Seth's Chain of Feathers which is also outstanding. Most highly recommended.
