Secretly hooking up with the team captain's sister was a bad idea. In my defense, the first time I saw her I didn't know who she was. Kind, gorgeous, a little naïve. Ginny brightened my world from day one. I knew I was no good for her. She was just out of a relationship, and I had a reputation for having a new girl in my bed every weekend. I tried to do the right thing. Honest. I'm the one who insisted we should be just friends. That lasted about as long as you'd expect. But Ginny? She's the best - best friend, best everything.

Against the Boards
I heard bits of this story on Tik Tok and loved it. I actually starting following cynthiagwrites because of her story telling videos.
I really enjoyed the author’s voice on Tik Tok, so I was happy that Audible gave her the creative freedom to narrate, too.
I was also impressed that the author knew what she was talking about when using hockey terms. Often times, authors don’t sound knowledgeable when using some references.
I liked the story, and if I had to give critical feedback I would say it could be saucier . Em lands a hottie , and the reader hardly had more than two chapters, of them getting together, and it is G Rated .

Adorable fun read
This book is the perfect escape from real life. It’s funny and cute. The characters are easy to fall in love with and it’s got swoon worthy moments without feeling like you’re reading an anatomy lesson.
