About this listen

The first anthology of original short stories featuring the confluence of two iconic properties, as the Predators seek the ultimate prey: the Xenomorphs from Alien

The ultimate hunters, the Predators, are pitted against their ultimate prey, the Xenomorphs, with humans caught in the middle! Taking place on Earth and in distant space, these tales have been crafted by a who’s who of today’s most talented authors of the fantastic:

David Barnett • Roshni “Rush” Bhatia • Curtis C. Chen • Delilah S. Dawson • Mira Grant • Susanne L. Lambdin • Jess Landry • Yvonne Navarro • E. C. Myers • Scott Sigler • Maurice Broaddus • Chris Ryall •
Bryan Thomas Schmidt • Steven L. Sears • Jonathan Maberry and Louis Ozawa

With 15 new and original stories, this first-of-its-kind anthology is inspired by the events of the original Aliens vs. Predators movies, graphic novels, and novels. Includes a new story written by Jonathan Maberry and Louis Ozawa (“Hanzo” from the movie Predators) as Hanzo’s brother faces the eternal threats of both the Yautja and the Xenomorphs.

Very entertaining. Not all stories are like the traditional Alien or Predator. But entertaining nonetheless

Great stories

Like with any anthology, some of the stories here are better than others. They also save the best two, or at least the two I was most looking forward to when I purchased the book, until the very end. My only gripe here is the narrator of the third story, Homestead, is legitimately not a good narrator. I’ve seen other reviewers mention it too but she has this weird way of putting too much emphasis on the final word of each sentence. don’t know how else to describe it but you’ll see what I mean if you give this a listen. If you can just make it through that one story with her the rest have great narrators.

One a day not everyday.

If you are a fan of the AVP universe then this should be on your list of must read or listen. I say one a day not everyday, because they eventually fall into a pattern which can be repetitive at times if you enjoy more than 2 at a time. However, if you treat them like camp fire stories and maybe read/listen to one or two a day; you should not be disappointed.

Another great reading of tales about the Xenomorphs and Predators... And I definitely enjoyed the continued story of Hanzo through his younger brother's eyes as he ventured on the same planet that his brother died on

excellent

great stories. very interesting the heavy push for female predators in this series. loved the "another mother" story . Scott sigler is Amazing. one of the lady readers had a very annoying uptick at the end of ever sentence. other than that great book.

Started out meh, finished strong

Kinda hit and miss on the first few stories. A few few of the narrators were an odd choice, with an odd rhythm. the continuation of Phalanx by Scott S made it worth it, really enjoyed it. Along with the last story, a continuation of Predators 2019 I think. I see alot of the reviews mentioned woke stuff, but it wasn't all that terrible.

Thumbs Up

I was skeptical about this being a fan of both the Aliens and Predator Franchises but I really did enjoy it. Different Authors Different Perspectives are what made this a fun read, at least for me.
