Good book
A good old fashioned who done it, lots of twists and turns. I’m no super sleuth so didn’t know “who done it” til the final page. I thought it was clever with good narration.

Day one crime junkie
This is an incredible debut novel from Ashley Flowers. One of the best written and most intriguing books in its genre. Looking forward to the sequel!

Great debut novel
I loved the book. Twist after twist kept me on the edge of my seat and I actually enjoyed the open ended ending of the book.

Sadly very predictable and ends ona cliffhanger
I'm very disappointed that out of all the stories Ashley Flowers could have told she chose one that resembles the JonBenet Ramsey one so much that it becomes a distraction. I'm not sure why she chose to leave her main character in the middle of an unresolved scene. The lack of closure it creates is unnecessary. And there's also a relationship btw the main character and a police officer that kinda feels like there will be a romance and that's left unexplored. A lot of loose ends that sadly feel like a marketing ploy for upcoming books at the expense of the quality of writing. Lastly, I don't understand the authors self-aggrandizing move to read the last chapter of the book. It takes you out of the atmosphere that the main voice actor has created and transports you into an episode of "Crime Junkie" (the author's podcast). Just bizarre anf unnecessary.
