Resumen del Editor
Each of the three Schuyler sisters has her own world-class problems, but in the autumn of 1966, Pepper Schuyler's problems are in a class of their own. When Pepper fixes up a beautiful and rare vintage Mercedes and sells it at auction, she thinks she's finally found a way to take care of herself and the baby she carries, the result of an affair with a married, legendary politician.
But the car's new owner turns out to have secrets of her own, and as the glamorous and mysterious Annabelle Dommerich takes pregnant Pepper under her wing, the startling provenance of this car comes to light: a Nazi husband, a Jewish lover, a flight from Europe, and a love so profound it transcends decades. As the many threads of Annabelle's life from World War II stretch out to entangle Pepper in 1960s America, and the father of her unborn baby tracks her down to a remote town in coastal Georgia, the two women must come together to face down the shadows of their complicated pasts.
Indomitable heroines, a dazzling world of secrets, champagne at the Paris Ritz, and a sweeping love story for the ages in New York Times best-selling author Beatriz William's final book about the Schuyler sisters.

The Bahamas, 1941. Newly widowed Leonora “Lulu” Randolph arrives in Nassau to investigate the governor and his wife for a New York society magazine. After all, American readers have an insatiable appetite for news of the duke and duchess of Windsor, that glamorous couple whose love affair nearly brought the British monarchy to its knees five years earlier. What more intriguing backdrop for their romance than a wartime Caribbean paradise, a colonial playground for kingpins of ill-gotten empires? Or so Lulu imagines.

Rollicking yarn that holds you in its grip
This is another of Beatriz Williams exciting historical jaunts through the twentieth century. Highly enjoyable, though the text could have used some judicious editing of the sex scenes in particular. A bit cringe-making!

my favorite book!! Can't stop thinking about it.
Where does Along the Infinite Sea rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It is definitely one of the best!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Along the Infinite Sea?
Everything started coming together in the last hour of the book. That was when I wanted to start it over and pay better attention to details and clues from the beginning.
What about Kathleen McInerney’s performance did you like?
She changed voices very well, but I did not love her depiction of the men in the book. They all sounded choppy/rough/not friendly at all. Almost like robots.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When Annabelle finds Stephan again.
Any additional comments?
I didn't care for Pepper's voice. Loved this book though!

Where’s the German accent?
The story was cute, but impossible to enjoy fully with the lack of correct accent for the German characters. If the narrator can’t to an accent then just skip it, don’t pretend they are English and just deepen your voice.

Love it.
I read it a couple years ago, and listened to it for my book club and it's still such a wonderful book. One of my favorites.

Very long and just ok
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes, but only after warning about how long the book was and how irritating the narrator was with the different character voices and accents. It was laughable at times.
Who was your favorite character and why?
I liked Isabelle just because her story was so interesting.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kathleen McInerney?
I just started with audio books so I usually listen to biographies with the biographer narrating the book which is so much more interesting.
What would have made this romance irresistible?
Less predictable.
Any additional comments?
The accents especially with the male characters was less than entertaining and made the story so much less believable.

Incredible Can’t Stop Listening to it Book
Fantastic humanistic journey thru a difficult period in history. Romantic dual stories culminating into one uplifting end. Characters still seem real. They exist somewhere in Time. Testament to the humanistic side and strength of character possible

Stunning Romance Story
I loved all the twists and turns in this book! I also loved all of the strong female characters taking action in the struggles of their lives. This was a beautifully written romance and I loved every second of it. The reader did a stellar job of acting out every emotion!

Meh
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
No, I would not recommend. It did not hold my attention and was predictable.
What could Beatriz Williams have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
The plot was uncomplicated which would have been OK if the romance had been believable.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The character's voices were not distinct enough. The male voices and the supposed accented voices were awkward to hear and did not sound male.
Did Along the Infinite Sea inspire you to do anything?
To return the audible book.
