Fast satisfying

The story moves along quickly as it's 7 chapters long. I found the story easy to listen too and keep me interested. I don't believe the main character's name was mentioned in the book. I can't wait to see what's in store for the next book. I can only speculate as to who the alpha is. Hopefully the story continues for these characters. I will be looking to read or listen to the second book soon.

Amazing Performance!!!

Prior to listening to this audiobook, I didn't know anything about the story or the universe in which this takes place. However, after listening to this amazing story, I'm reading the last two books to see how everything turns out. The narrator brought a depth to the story that you typically can't get whole reading a book, and now I'll be hearing her voice throughout the rest of the story. I really hope the narrator continues this story!!!

heat and heaven

I had the most vivid imagination and it was hard to keep still with the head phones. now i need to order wireless that's waterproof, plus I need to take 2 extra showers just to cool down thats I felt about the book.

So Hot!

This story wet my appetite and left me wanting more. The alpha was so hot and dark! Definitely will be listening to more in this series! Recommended!

The book is super hot, and having narration just adds a whole new level! What an amazing start to the series, I can't wait to get started on the rest!

Passionate and Sexy and Erotic, Oh My!

After reading this, there is no doubt of Nora Ash’s ability to deliver sexy, hot, and erotic stories. Alpha: Taken is the first book in what appears to be a three book serial.

The book is a quick listen, which is nice, because it can be done in one day. The narrator, Thurlow Holmes, does a fantastic job delivering the story, and makes you feel every fearful, embarrassing, wanton, and passionate moment the main character experiences.

It’s a scorching read and can’t wait for the next installment.

Sizzling

I loved this book Nora Ash has her own style of writing and she does an excellent job of romance and action and everything else. This is my first audiobook she can add to the list getting the right narrater. I am so glad that I got chosen to get an advance copy that's how I found out about her but she not like every other out there her books get hot, so you may need a cold shower. She nailed it with the alpha's in this series, it's more than that they also have a senseative side. Get ready for a story that will have you panting. She doesn't do anything in half measures she gives you everything you want and then some. There are no down sides to the story I had a little trouble going from dreaded to audiobook but that was me but after an hour I was okay but that's on me not her the book is worth every penny you don't know what your missing out on

I loved this book. It was so hot and Thurlow Holmes brought the story to life, you get so caught up in the story as she tells it. I did not want to stop listening. I highly recommend this book.

Dark and different Omegaverse

Would you consider the audio edition of Alpha: Taken to be better than the print version?

They're about the same. I think I prefer the book, but this is the first audio book I've listened to. It's hard to get used to hearing someone voice a character that I've read.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I have to go with Leod. The heroine got on my nerves at times but Leod maintained his mystery and drew me in.

What does Thurlow Holmes bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The woman who reads the book really helped me feel Leigh's emotions in ways that I didn't in the book. Her fear, anger, etc. really showed in the reader's voice.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

There are definitely parts that caused an extreme reaction. The danger that Leigh faces when she is caught in the park and her fear when she realizes that she's trapped made me feel like I was right there with her. And there are some other parts *cough, cough* that caused an extreme reaction.

Any additional comments?

Very dirty, very hot and very good! I love that this is a relatively new paranormal theme. There aren't many books written about Omegas, especially when they aren't shifters. I've read the rest of the series and there are some scenes in those that I'd really like to find out just how they're going to be handled by the woman who reads this.

Definitely worth listening too!

I absolutely love this story! i couldn't stop listening to it and the narration was very well done! This is for sure worth the purchase and an amazing story to listen to this author is truly gifted and a wonderful writer.
