About this listen

After the Seelie king Torin nearly froze me to death, I plunged through a portal into my true home. Turns out, my hometown is a wild Unseelie kingdom known as the Court of Sorrows. When Torin follows me and sees my new horns, he quickly realizes that his intended bride is an enemy of his realm. In fact, his name for my kind is "demon."

But even if I have the horns of an Unseelie, I'm not welcome here, either. Queen Mab and her monstrous soldiers are delighted to torment us, accusing me of being a traitor. If we want to get out of the Court of Sorrows with our lives, the only hope we have is to stay as close to each other as possible--even if it means fleeing on horseback and sharing a bed. Every moment is bittersweet since it could be our last--and Torin is condemned to kill anyone he loves.

Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music! Performed by Taylor Coan, Alex Hill-Knight, Nazia Chaudhry, Scott McCormick, Colleen Delany, John Kielty, Stephanie Németh-Parker, Jenna Sharpe, Zeke Alton, Michael John Casey, Torian Brackett, Jasmine Hyde, Eric Messner, Yasmin Tuazon, Terence Aselford, Marni Penning and Karen Novack.

I enjoyed it

I wasn’t sure I wanted to listen to the audible because I didn’t love the Frost audible at times but this one was better! The story itself wasn’t quite as good as the first but still worth the read/listen!

Missing Dialogue

The story and graphic audio is great. But there are SEVERAL areas when dialogue is missing (not sure if it didn't get recorded or just got left out when they pieced everything together), and it makes it kind of difficult to follow those scenes.

Terrific Resolution!

The beautiful story that began with Frost resolves in this second instalment in a perfect arc. The Graphic Audio adaptation is flawless and highly enjoyable. Whenever available I always choose their adaptations.

Full cast brings it to life!

I loved the books before, but now Graphic Audio brought this world to life. I wish all audiobooks were recorded like this. Between the author and the team recording the book, there couldn't be a more capable group of people bringing joy to all bibliophiles everywhere. So to sum it up.....AMAZING! 10 out of 10 stars!!!

Secrets and Magic and More!

Think of a modern Hunger Games, Divergent, and Acotar mixed together and you get Ambrosia.

The second installment of Frost and Nectar was really good.
I listened to the Graphic Audio dramatized version and the voice actors did really well. Definitely fell in love with Torin’s voice haha.
Like in the first book I do wish it was longer so we can feel more of a connection to the characters and get more of a backstory. I also like the modernity of the world.
At first I wasn’t sure about the pov from Shalini but I ended up liking it in the end because we got to understand her more and I absolutely adore her and Aeron 😂 definitely underrated characters.
The character growth was good and it was good to see each character find out what they were looking for and how to get it.
Ava is definitely a bad*** fmc.

4⭐️ for the story

Story is terrible

The first book was pretty good, but this book is all over the place. It feels like the author didn't have anyone edit the story. It is so poorly written compared to the first one. I will never get this time back after listening to this crap story. The voice actors did the best they could with the lazy writing they were given. I have heard a lot of the same actors in other stories and love hearing them. I do not recommend this story, you would be better off listening to book 1 and leaving it at a cliffhanger..

Eh not for me

When you go from reading acotar, CC, tog, fourth wing this book just doesn’t even compare….. its been entertaining to listen to on my drives to and from work and cleaning but I definitely don’t think I could have gotten through this series actually reading the books. Very average. I think the actual plot could have been really fun and different but everything just feels rushed, not much character development, Chemistry is off, not much build up to crazy scenarios everything is just over and figured out quickly if that makes sense. I also just don’t really like the acting either. I only started the 2nd one because i’m just curious to know what happened but I would definitely not recommend this series.
