All roads lead to Beirut, though, and what Rapp doesn't know is that the enemy is aware of his existence and has prepared a trap. The hunter is about to become the hunted, and Rapp will need every ounce of skill and cunning if he is to survive the war-ravaged city and its various terrorist factions.

Great book

Wonderful story telling. Specific, intriguing and tight. The style is a great combination of post Cold War adventure and present day political and covert intrigue.
George Guidall’s reading is just as captivating as the written word.
Five stars!!!

this book was great. Narrator awesome. Flow kept me fully engaged... That doggone Hurley!!!! You couldn't help but love they Ole Cuss!!!!

Took a while to get used to the narrarators cadence. But was a good book once I did.

Best of the series

I have listened to the entire Flynn series with Mitch Rapp.... with the movie I re-listened to American Assassin. I believe this is the best of all his work. it's very entertaining, and certainly my favorite. This audio presentation of the actual book is so much better than the movie in NY opinion. The narrator did such a great job with the presentation... his portrayal of Stan Hurley was spectacular. Loved this book, audio presentation, and narrator.

Vince Flynn & George Guidall are fantastic!!

This pair write and read amazing books. Vince was taken before his time. I miss his writing. It's too bad Hollywood didn't actually do a movie based on the book...

Tremendous

The only problem with this book is that it ended as soon as it did! The combination of Flynn and Guidall is unbeatable. In latter pages I was literally crying from laughter at one of the character's (who is a character) behavior. The writing and performance are superb! Let's have another!
