Great 1st Look

Previously read but narrated version was surprisingly entertaining. Stan's age/voice was distracting. Seemed too old for his vitality.

I've enjoyed this action type book forever, and I have to say the narration and story s the best yet! do your self a favor,..and listen to this hit!!!!!!

Good fun

The Mitch Rapp series came highly recommended from a friend so I started here. This was my first Flynn book and have now just downloaded my third. I cant seem to get enough of Mitch Rapp and his pull no punches attitude toward ridding this world of terrorists threats and anyone who gets in his way trying to do so.. These books are nothing more than good fun and a great way to spend my 60 minute commute.

Flynn is amazing. Don’t let the recent movie release fool you otherwise. Best audible book I’ve ever listened to.

Just excellent!!

This is one the best espionage series I have read!! Ok not one of the best, it is the Best! This is my second time reading this book and it's just gets better and better... like old wine. Vince Flynn will be missed but I am so thankful the series continued. Mitch Rapp is the man!!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Irene, Mitch, Stan, the CIA director who i can't remember the name of and even Victor. all of them really. that's the best part of this book, the character development. You walk with Mitch through his training. i remember when i listened to this book. i was sitting impatiently at 35,000 feet off to some corner of the world and my heart was pounding as Mitch went through training. even tho he was as cool as the other side of the pillow i was stressed. i bet i even started looking at the other passengers evaluating if they were a threat. you get into these characters

Which scene was your favorite?

When Mitch first goes to training camp and meets Stan. then when he's getting sized up by Victor and the other recruits. then in Switzerland when he meets… basically every part

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I think i might have nearly done that. i was on a 12 hour flight a short lay over then another 4 hour flight to some corner of China so yeah, i'm guessing i did finish it in one day

Any additional comments?

George makes these characters come alive! i was a little disappointed when the cast Michael Keyton as Stan, even tho i'm a fan. only because I didn't think he could do the voice George had for him. I wanted the actor to live up to character George made for him. Thank you George. I'm as much of a Mitch Rapp fan as I am and George fan.
too bad they ruined this great work with that pathetic movie attempt

Great start for an assassin. Engaging and interesting characters. I enjoyed hearing how Mitch got his start and the relationship between characters.

Career Beginnings

A great story, telling how Mitch got his start. The character Mitch Rapp ranks up there close to Jack Reacher doing good the way we all would do if given the opportunity and the skill set. This book provided me with non-stop thrilling action with a fair bit of humor. A Great Listen.
