I thought it was the best book I’ve ever listen to! I read the first book in sixth grade and now I made it my goal to listen to all of them and it was the best idea ever! I would listen to this again

Loved the twists and turns, gives a lot to think about too
The series ended differently than expected and that’s a nice surprise! This was my favorite series as a young 90s kid in 6th grade.. I wasn’t able to source the rest of the series in later years, after it was written. Grew up pretty poor. What a delight to read-read and finish the entire series for free on Audible!! (A friend recently gifted me the entire set in paperback too!) Now, I’m going and reading all the other Haddix books on Audible! I’m 32 and it’s made my whole month already to finish this series!

Finished the whole series!
Yes, this is a dystopian series, but the focus is on the importance of freedom and keeping government honest and that even young people can do seemingly small acts that inspire others. The books are well written and I think listeners will enjoy the action and the narrator’s excellent performances. This helped take my mind off the current pandemic situation while I did a puzzle - a new way to relax for me and helpful. I think my middle school students would especially enjoy this.
