Publisher's summary

Renowned occult writer, Manly P. Hall, not only explores the history and images of the tarot cards, but he delves into the secret occult symbolism while examining the divinatory meaning behind each of the 22 major arcana. Manly P. Hall quotes Eliphas Levin, stating: with no other book than the Tarot, if he knew how to use it, could in a few years acquire universal knowledge, and would be able to speak on all subjects with unequalled learning and inexhaustible eloquence.

more mystical than historical

There wasn't much information offered you couldn't find on Wikipedia. Focused on a lot of the fringe theories surrounding tarot instead of the actual history. So very short.

The subject matter is fascinating; the reading almost ruins it, no offense to anyone.

I just do not enjoy the way this is read. I feel, personally, that I would have enjoyed this material way more if the reading was done better in a technical manner.
