One I wish I had studied in school.

Wow. I wish I had read this in a high school or college class. I think the conversation it evoked would be so good. This story is incredibly sad, as expected. But the writing is beautiful and the path the story takes surprised me.

Not the entire story

What disappointed you about An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge?

I was very disappointed that the recording skipped an entire section of the short story.

Abridged version

What would have made An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge better?

If it was actually the unabridged version as advertised

Would you ever listen to anything by Ambrose Bierce again?

yes

What about Brian D'eon’s performance did you like?

performance was good

Any additional comments?

This is not the unabridged version. This version leaves out the part of how he got captured in the first place. Shame on Audible!

Incomplete version

There are three sections to the original text. This version does not have section 2. I use this story in my classrooms; but not this one anymore. After buying it, I found the missing section.
