Great Listen!

Love the story line. It’s a quick listen that kept me engaged. I liked the characters and how you still got glimpses in the second book.

Skye
This listen was good but I liked the first book better. It was more predictable for me. But I still loved the characters. Skye and her sisters are fun to listen too.

The narrators were great. I have to say that the male narrators female voice were a little annoying. Other than that they did a good job. The female narrators were really easy to listen to. I enjoyed them allot.

Overall great read. Will definitely listen again.

Mixed Review

If it were only the first story, I'd have to give it a 3 overall, 2 performance, 4 story rating. Both narrators had issues that made it hard for me to listen. Elizabeth Tebb did an odd nasally voice for the male character that I didn't enjoy at all, and Daniel James Lewis occasionally went a little too hard with the narration and it got distracting. If he pulled back just a little it would have been more enjoyable. I did enjoy all his voices and his female voices were not annoying.

That being said, I enjoyed hearing Anthony's story. I already heard Rett's book, where Anthony was a character and I wanted to see what happened to him after being left by his girlfriend. Hearing his journey and character growth was rewarding and I'm glad he got a happy ending. I liked Sway's character as well.

The narrators for the second book were much better, and I had no trouble staying in the story. Skye's story was fun and I liked Liam's character. Their adventures and the unfolding of their relationship was fun and cute and made me smile, so I bumped my overall rating up to a 4, and the performance up to a 3, though I'd give these particular performers a 4.

A great box set!

Despite not reading the series in order and missing a few books, I still relished the stories. Even if you don't have background knowledge of the characters, you can read/listen and enjoyed each as a standalone.

Anthony and Skye are the seventh and eighth installments of the Signature Sweethearts series. Each book has its own refreshing storylines that are entertaining, funny, playful, sweet, and steamy. The characters are charming, natural, and connectable. Kelsie Rae is a gifted author, I really like her style, plot, and character development.

Excellent performances by almost all the narrators. They captured the characters' personalities, emotions, and moods, bringing the story to life. Overall, this was an enjoyable listen, it was fun and flirty with enough heat. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and my unbiased review is voluntarily given.

Cute but could be better...

This is the first time reading/listening to Kelsie Rae's stories. Both books are cute and very low angst. A great escape while running errand or doing chores around the house.

Sway and Anthony's story line was refreshing with the hero's and heroine's roles swapped compared to your typical alpha hero who won't commit until they meet the one. Anthony was the opposite, wanted a commitment, 3 kids and the white picket fence. It wasn't insta-love and they took the time to get to know one another, which made it so much more relatable. I love the family interactions. It was definitely worth it and entertaining.

Skye and Liam's story was less favorable. A tad bit below 3 stars. It was the typical arranged/fake marriage that turns into real love. However, the character developments were a bit lacking. I wished the author brought back Skaye's parents and more family interactions. Everything happened too fast: from Skye jumping in to help Liam by agreeing to marry him, to falling in love while on their honey and years of estrangement between Liam and his dad resolving so quickly. It was a bit too far fetch for me personally. It was still cute, just not a story that will stay with me.
