The writing made me feel like I was right in the thick of the story.
I adored the accent of the reader of this story. The story was full of information about the war in Gallipoli. I felt like I was part of it. I could imagine that I was a friend living this story.

Loved the trilogy
I felt thoroughly engaged by the story and the storyteller. It was moving, and the complexity added to the depth of the story. I'd like to know what else Angus McDonald has written.
